Metro police on Friday announced a fourth person is now in custody for last September’s killing of a 20-year-old man in a drug deal gone bad plot.

Juan Posada, 19, was arrested in an unrelated case last week in Cheatham County and  booked into the Metro Jail on Wednesday on an indictment charging him with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery in the death of Eric Jauregui.

Police detectives said Jauregui, 20, was inside a car in a shopping center parking lot of 117 Gallatin Pike North in Madison when he was fatally shot.

Posada and his three co-defendants are charged with killing Jauregui during their plot to rob him of marijuana and a gun.

Josue Mojica, 19, Ronaldo Conde, 17, and Ashley A. Garcia, 20, were arrested on murder charges last September.
